What a busy day!!

We went with the daycare kids to McDonalds for lunch today! We all played for 2 hours!! Lots of worn out kids :)

Then Tegan, my mom and I went to the basketball tourny down town East vs Waukee. East won 68 to 39 wooo hoo :) Tegan wore a huge button that said "GO BIG RED!!" So cute. And when the kids section started cheering she started yelling Ahh ahh ahh lol!! She watches Daddy play basketball all the time and her and i watch basketball all the time on tv too! She is hooked!!

She has been really snuggly lately! And she pretty much just wants her mommy :) Not that I am complaining!!

Pitiful Baby girl

Today was a lot better when it came to the cough and the runny nose. I used saline drops to suck her nose but she hates that :( Now she has extremely bad diaper rash on top of it all. It was a rough night, she didn't want to poop at all poor baby. Aunt Charlie was really helpful though thank God she had some prescription diaper ointment that hopefully will clear up the problem in the next few days. Once she finally let herself poop she was in such a better mood. Playing and laughing. Her laughs melt my heart. And she laughs so easily. Chloey bit her tonight... She is such a booger sometimes with those teeth of hers! She will learn sooner then later I think that being a bully never works out. Tegan is already her size and weight and will soon be mobile and then Chloey is in for a rude awakening! Tegan will be a beast and will be chasing her around getting her payback lol.

We went for a nice long walk this afternoon after Sage woke up from a nap and that fresh air and warm weather was really helpful with getting rid of all the sniffles we both were having problems with! Ludo (our boxer)  was a maniac. It has been forever since we have been outside together and on a walk. Usually his outside activities consist of me opening the back door and him running out to do his business and then racing back inside as fast as he can because it has been such a cold winter!

Tomorrow we will be Lysoling the whole house we had the windows open today hopefully we can get all the "ick" out and let the healthy spring begin :)

Teen mom 2 is over, Charlie and Chloey went home and the hubby got home from work. Tegan has been fast asleep for over an hour (no coughing spells yet fingers crossed) I hate when she is sick but then again she is super snuggly, not that she isn't a great snuggler regardless :)

Poor Baby

Poor Tegan, Mommy and daddy missed you like crazy all weekend!! And now you are sick! You have a pitiful cough and a really runny nose and poor thing has a sore bum now too. We gave you a long bath and you played and soaked and started to feel a lot better! Now you are sleeping like the little angel that you are! I love you so much it never gets old watching you sleep in my arms. Daddy was hogging you tonight. He was trying to teach you how to crawl and he was snuggling you until you fell asleep :) He has been working nights and he was home really early tonight so he got to put you to bed like old times! You're favorite time of night is when it is time for snuggling and a bed time bottle, especially if it is with daddy!!

You have been doing some pretty silly things lately. You have always quivered your bottom lip like you are cold but you are never cold :) And now you hold up 2 fingers like a peace sign!! Even when you are sleeping!! It is too cute! You still aren't taking naps maybe 10-20 minutes at a time! You play all the time though!

Always laughing at your toys or different people on T.V. your exersaucer is your favorite toy! You're always standing in it, playing and smiling at the star toy (as you can see above) You love stars, just like your mommy :) and your hair is getting thicker and darker (except your white/blond spot) and your eyes change color every day...every hour really ;)

You are AMAZING!! You eat about 1/4 of a cup of baby food with a spoon in the mornings. At night you prefer your cereal bahboo. 

 

The past few days you haven't  been taking naps during the day. (Maybe 10 minutes if you do) But you want to take an hour nap at night around 7 then stay up until 10-10:30pm. You sure are a stinker!!! :)

You scared mommy a few days ago.(Saturday) We went to Grandma and Grandpa Janssen's and after being there 2 hours you started screaming like you never have before!! I was so scared and I could tell something was hurting you and I knew I needed to fix it but I didn't know what was wrong or how to make it better! We flew home and Grandma Reinna said to give you a peppermint/ water bottle and then after a few farts and about 4 oz's you were sleeping soundly!! I hope you know no matter what no matter when- I'll always be there for you. And your happiness and well being will always be the most important thing to me and daddy. We love you so much and when you hurt...We hurt!  <3

Aunt Charlie had you the other day over night. She always is calling and asking if you can come stay the night! She thinks she is your favorite person! I know I am tho :) When you got home daddy never said anything about what you did while you were at Aunt Charlies. So when I went to give you a bath and i pulled your socks off I screamed and about fell over! Aunt Charlie had painted your toe nails red and I didn't know about it so my first instinct was that it was blood lol! But you do look awfully adorable with your toe nails painted :)

3 months of you

The past 3 months+ have been very busy and you have done so much. You sit up in your Bumbo now and you giggle at mom and dad all the time! You are always smiling and talking (even though its more of a babble or coo)


You have been to Winfield KS. - 7hours from home and you cried ALL 7hours!! But everyone at the race track was so excited to see you!!  When the Go-Karts are running you LOVE the sound!! Daddy won 4 of the 6 classes he was in!! Uncle Drew won 3 of4 :)

  Then you went to Georgia for Thanksgiving where daddy raced for $20,000. We had a lot of bad luck but it was a great adventure :) You wore all your racing gear!! So cute!! You made lots of faces :)

Mommy and daddy went to Indiana while you stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Janssen. Mommy called 20x a day because I missed you like crazy :)

You love sitting in your sweet peace! Apparently our brand new swing is broken :( so thank goodness we have the sweet peace!

You are definitely a DIVA!! You let me dress you up and change your clothes and accessories!

Uncle Cole started playing Football for school in Pella. You were also the hit of the crowd too!! But all that excitement sure did wear you out :)

Mommy started a daycare in the house we only have 1 little boy for now but it makes it possible for mommy to stay at home with you!!

You slept through the night a few times but now you wake up 2x to eat and then you go right back to bed. You have tried baby food a few times you only eat about 3 bites then you are done! You have tried Peaches and Pears!! In a few weeks we will try more once you are 4 months!!

Now you are using formula and Breast milk mixed during the day because I have dried up :( But at night you eat some rice cereal in your mixed bottles.

Halloween Mommy and daddy were in Georgia racing for Chad Waller and I missed you terribly!! But we didn't miss trick or treating with you:) It was freezing here in Iowa so I made grandma Brose keep you in the house and hand out candy with Grandpa!!

You went to meet Santa 2x so far and you loved him!! And he loved you so much!! He didn't want to let you go :) I'm so excited for your first Christmas!

And we love you so much!! More and more everyday!! Daddy comes home from work, showers, and hurries to pick you up so he can snuggle as much as possible <3

We went out to eat for Aunt JuJu's birthday! You were the star of the show!! You were so cute and lots of daddy's side of the family hadn't met you yet so they were all very excited to meet you :)

I love you Tegan Rae Brose! You are the most amazing thing that has ever happened to daddy and I and my favorite thing in this whole wide world is to feel your hugs:)

I went into labor at 5am today. And that's when the adventure started!!

We went to the doctor at 8:30am but we weren't dilated enough to go to the hospital yet. We got lunch on the way home and went to the chiropractor where the dr gave us a few stretches to do to help speed the labor up.

We went back to the doctor around 1pm and we were sent to the HOSPITAL!!! :)

When we got settled in the room my labor really picked up. They broke my water and I was dilated to a 4. The pain really got strong and my contractions were 1 minute apart. But not much changed after i got my epidural. Aunt Cindy and Chasity. Grandma and Grandpa Brose and Aunt Cori were at the hospital nearly the whole time. Donna came to visit mommy while I was in labor too. At 9pm Dr Siemen (Yes hunny that was who delivered you and one day you will laugh when you hear this story) he cam by and said my cervix wasn't thinning and if nothing changed by 10pm i would have to have a C-Section. So at 10 pm I only dilated to a 6 and my cervix swelled so in to the operating room we went. Daddy was so supportive and helpful the ENTIRE TIME!! You were born at 10:48pm 8pounds 6ounces 21 inches ling! And we couldn't be happier Sweetheart!

Mommy finally got to hold you after an hour of recovery. You had pooped in the womb and they had to make sure you were ok. When you were 2 minutes old I said "She looks like she is going to be trouble!!" Daddy said "Tegan are you going to be a monster? If so blink twice!" You opened your eyes real big and then blinked 2 times clear as day :)

Welcome to the world Tegan Rae Brose
