Wow how time flys

A year ago I would never imagine the joy i would still have in my heart for this beautiful little girl named Tegan Rae. The 1st time i looked in her eyes I knew she would be the most amazing thing that i would ever give the world, the most pure thing i could offer a world that needed so much happiness. And I saw all the happiness right there in that little wrinkled up face in 2010.


Now it is a year later and all i can think of is the day she was born. Everyone tells you that the pain is worth it, you wont even remember the pain once that beautiful baby is in your arms, And I now know they were all right. 100% correct! I remember every single detail of August 24th 2010 but for the life of me i can not remember the pain at all! I remember the fear, the joy, the worrying of the unknown but most of all i remember the joy on my husbands face when he brought our little girl over to me still strapped to the c-section table. I remember the "Mommy High" that allowed me to move myself around when the nurses sat there in shock because apparently I should have been in to much pain to move! I remember I only got mad 1 time during the 3 day stay in Mercy Hospital. I got mad because they kept coming to get Tegan from our room and I wanted MY baby in MY room in MY arms! So I went to get her! :)

My Husband has been the most amazing father a little girl could ask for! The fathers of our nieces and nephew well lets just say they pretty much suck at life and when looking at Eddie, he may not always be picture perfect dad but as far as Tegan and I are concerned he is Father of the Year!!!! We are both very lucky to have him in our lives and we are both blessed with having him here everyday never leaving to go out with friends because he would rather be here with Tegan and I then anywhere else. And unless we are out of town racing for a long weekend (Which we dont take tegan along for) He spends every moment he isn't at work being a great dad, husband, son, brother, brother in law as well! He is amazing!! I am very lucky and so is Tegan!!

Well, Our baby girl is 1 today. And as i put her to bed with the usual singing of You are my sunshine followed by daddy rocking her and then putting her to bed, i can't help but remember what a looong night we had a year ago and how every second since then has been a gift from God and how I can't imagine my life without her!

Princess

Today and the past few months have been a little icy around this house. Not to many details need be said on the internet i dont think but i can thank my beautiful daughter for keeping me sain! She is the best thing that has ever happened to me that is for sure and i would do anything for her no doubt. If i knew then what i know now plays over and over in my mind but i wouldnt change having her thats for sure!

Tegan rae...Growing girl

Tegan has been teething with her top 2 teeth for the last month or so. Thankfully the left top tooth has broken the skin and is about to come through and the right one is following slowly but its happening!!

Tegan pulled herself up to standing on Sunday the 12th. It happened when Daddy was putting her to bed and he was looking over her crib trying to talk her to going to sleep and she popped up and was looking him in the eye! He was so excited he yelled for mommy and i came running and there she was laughing because she now has a new trick up her sleeve!!

She stands herself up on the side of the couch and the coffee table and the toy box in the toy room! But once she is up, especially on the couch, she gets scared because she is afraid to fall. She is getting so big i just can not believe my baby girl will be 10 months old in 10 days :( I remember the day she was born like it was all last night! I believe that I will remember that night for the rest of my life! Even after my next child or children are born I will remember my 1st born and my labor and pregnancy forever!

Tegan went to the doctor for her 9month appt about a month ago and they said she was so far ahead of where she should be at 9 months. But I have a feeling that it has to do a lot with me having a daycare in the home and she tries to keep up with the kids and she plays so well with them. Hopefully this daycare adventure will teach her not to be stengie and to share and to be kind and respectful to others!!

This weekend we went to Warrensburg, Missouri for a race at Lasoski Speedway. Well we only got to race 1 race because daddy got in a fight and we got in trouble and were suspended for the rest of the day. It wasn't anything bad and it was mainly because he let so much build up and he finally snapped!

Eddie and I have been together for almost 8 years now and I have never seen him get in a fight little lone start one! So this was totally out of his character! Tegan was protective of her daddy the rest of the day when a guy that he got into it with came up to us and started picking another fight Tegan was climbing all over Eddie! She loves her daddy so much! And she is so good at the race track! I just wish these teeth would come in so she wasn't so sleepy all the time! Then she would have enjoyed more races this weekend!

BREATH RIGHT STRIPS

I got some free samples in the mail of the Breath Right Strips. I have to say they did there job and I couldn't be happier! I have been suffering from Sinus Infection and Allergies. I haven't been able to breath out of my nose in quite some time now! But Thanks to Breath Right Strips I got my first full nights sleep and all while breathing out of my nose!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone suffering from a stuffy nose due to allergies or a cold. If you have a stuffed up nose then these are the fix you have been looking for!!

Boo boo

Tegan is getting more teeth. That poor thing has a puffy face we are hoping that she will get a few all at once so then we dont have to keep doing this for awhile! She doesn't keep anything down and doesn't want to eat. She has slept all day and all she wants is da da!

Eddie is at the NationWide race in Newton helping Brett Moffitt! (Who is winning with 30 to go) :)

Tegan stayed the night with Grandma Brose last night! Grandpa Brose loves her he didnt want to give her back lol but mommy can't be away from Tbaby too long or i start getting withdrawls :)

Stride Rite :)

Tegan got her first official pair of shoes today! StrideRite!! We tried on the walking shoes and Tegan let this lady put them right on. Mind you that when I try to put shoes on her at home it is about a 30-45 minute fight that 9 times out of 10 ends with her winning and no shoes being worn!! Turns out Tegan is a size 3.5 and I have been putting 2's on her! That might explain the fight huh :)

Tegan REFUSED to walk at all for the lady in the store so they gave her the crawling version of shoes that way she can get use to shoes and also she wont always be on her tip toes!! She is pulling herself up on things but she doesn't pull herself all the way up to standing because she fell the other day when she did that and now she is terrified!! So instead she goes to her knees!! But she is super fast at crawling, she can zoom across the room and by the time i get her put back my her toys i turn around and she is back where i just removed her from lol!!

My little girl is growing so fast and doing so much and I hate it! Everyone keeps telling me she should be doing "this" by "this age" but i refuse to let that run her life! I want her to stay a baby and a child and a kid for as long as possible!! Now of days kids are forced to be adults to fast and I wont let that happen to my T Baby :)

I love you stinky face

So I have been calling Tegan "stinky face" for a while now because she slobbers like crazy in her sleep and one time she woke up and smelled like stinky feet! lol!! Now she just has her stinky Tegan smell :) And I LOVE IT!! Eddie makes fun of me because i could spend all day "sniffing" her chubby lil face :)

Before she takes bathes, like tonight, I sniff and sniff and sniff her all i can before she gets all clean. then i sniff and sniff and sniff her because she smells like a fresh baby :) i love it!!

Tegan is crawling all over and everyday she gets faster and faster! And now she has decided that she doesnt need to listen to the word No ever!! She likes to crawl fast to the kitchen and flip over the recycling bin. I dont much care if she does that but now she has started reaching for the top of the garbage can! it may be time to move it or get a lid for it!!

I had to smack her hand for the 1st time today :( I cried. She cried. I hope I don't have to do that very often! I told her no 4x then went and moved her from the situation and she crawled back over the the garbage can and reached for the bag and got a piece so i smacked her hand and told her NO and then we were both heart broken :(

Eddie told me that he doesn't know how long this job is going to take:( Makes me sad because he made a comment today "I hate being out of town, i feel like im missing out" I simply replied "you are" Tegan and I absolutely hate when he is out of town and the time we have with him flys by and i hate it! It is very hard to go from being with my husband, best friend, confidante, secret keeper, and lover all the time to only getting to talk to him on the phone once or twice a day and then seeing him on the weekends. I can't even believe how hard this is!! Im a trooper tho and we have an amazingly strong relationship that anyone else would be lucky to wish they had! I love him so much I am a very happy and lucky girl :)
